Assistant Principal's Message

Hello Wayland Bonds Family,

I’m thrilled to join the Broncos as the new assistant principal for the 2024-2025 school year. Originally from a small town in Illinois near St. Louis, I graduated from Illinois State with a chemical engineering degree. Later, I earned my master’s and education degrees from Southern Illinois University and an administrative degree from the University of Oklahoma (BOOMER SOONER!).

This marks my third year in administration, having previously served at Bryant and South Lake. Before my time in administration in Oklahoma, I taught AP and Honors Biology and coached at Westmoore High School. With 34 years in education, I’ve taught various grades and subjects in Illinois and Missouri.

Beyond school, I cherish moments with family and friends, including my husband Brian, and our Yorkie, Teddy. My interests span travel, reading, shopping, binge-watching shows, and sports.

Education is my passion, and I’m committed to fostering a love for learning in our students. I eagerly anticipate supporting Mrs. Edward’s vision and serving the Bond's Community as we guide students through their educational journey in Moore Public Schools.
